Butternuts Won a Book!

We just won a copy of a permaculture book called Gaia's Garden: A Guide To Home-Scale Permaculture on Crunchy Chicken's blog. I'm sure we'll be telling you all about it!

Like everybody else, we feel that we have far more to do than we can actually accomplish, and spend too much time running around, breathless. But we do believe that, whether consciously or unconsciously, for every single thing we say “yes” to, we say “no” to something else. We created this blog to remind ourselves that trying to live more simply, attempting to save money, and striving to reduce wastefulness are important ways to say "yes" to the people and places that we hold precious.
